Companies That Use Factoring
Posted by admin on January 25, 2013 at 6:21 pm | Last modified: January 25, 2013 6:51 pmMany types of companies can benefit from the use of factoring or accounts receivable factoring. As long as a company is doing business to business or business to government (federal, state, county, city) and issuing invoices for completed work, factoring is a financing possibility.
Most companies that utilize factoring have a staffing element and therefore a payroll to meet. Often there is a gap between payroll and invoices being paid. This creates a cash flow issue since working capital is tied up in unpaid invoices. Factoring releases this capital.
Other companies can also benefit from factoring to meet other expenses such as pay suppliers, pay taxes, advertising, marketing, and new and larger orders.
The companies that benefit most from factoring (but are not limited to) include the following:
- Professional Services
- Architects, Engineers, Consultants
- IT Companies
- Medical – hospital, nursing home, home care
- Security Guard, Alarm / Surveillance Companies
- Staffing – administrative, accounting, temporary, etc.
- Janitorial – including general maintenance, carpet cleaning, construction, office maintenance, pest control, etc.
- Court Reporting Agencies
- Translation Companies
- Printing / Graphics Companies
- Manufacturers
- Distributors / Supplier
- Garment / Textile
- Import / Export Companies
- Transportation, Freight
Contractors and Suppliers

Kind of like the Death Star but less menacing. Once fully operational, it should be an online documentation of Su Yin Khoo. Featured work Peter Griffin Online.
